Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th January, 1981) is an American actor. He began his acting career playing roles in television shows such as Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. Evans gained fame as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans is also seen in films that are based off comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). He gained wider recognition for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was one of the most highly paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel series.
