Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. Since her teen years she's embraced the edges of classical and pop music. In addition, she explores genres including hip-hop, trap, and soul. Her voice has been called by no less of an artist than the flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough making it to the top of the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami collaborated on songwriting with many artists and producers like Cory Henry and James Blake. The album came out in 2022 as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to appear solo on the show. Motomami was the sole female ever to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
